We offer one fully funded PhD position and one Postdoc position at the Theory of Condensed Matter Physics Department under the scope of the ERC-StG project TIMELIGHT, led by Paloma A. Huidobro. The focus of the project is to develop theory of light-matter interactions in time-modulated nanophotonic media.

– PhD (4 years): we are looking for a candidate with a Master degree in Physics, with experience in theoretical condensed matter physics, nanophotonics and/or quantum theory.

– Postdoc (2 years with the possibility of an extension): we are looking for a candidate with a PhD in condensed matter theory or related areas, preferrably with experience in nanophotonics, quantum optics and related areas.
